Playback: Download files using Web Browser


Q:  I have not been able to download any of the templates listed in the Tips newsletter.  I feel that the internet services dialog box does not function correctly.  I have used the help menu but the download does not take place.  There does not appear to be a download "button" as described.

A:  There is no problem with the program.  When the Internet Services form is opened, it takes a brief while for the dates and files available to be downloaded, at which point the dates show on the form and the dropdown windows become populated.   If this does not happen, the issue is more of an Internet connection issue than one of the program having a bug.  Please be patient and wait for the dates, drop down selections, and Download button to populate the form.

Q:  Make PLAYBACK FILES accessible in some way to those of us who can't use INTERNET SERVICES.  I haven't been able to EVER use this feature.  I can't begin to imagine how much better as a trader I might be if I had  . . . plus time and money saved from NOT making stupid mistakes.

When on that web page, click a link to save the file on the computer.  Template files need to be saved in C:\Ensign\Template  folder.   Playback files need to be saved in  C:\Ensign\Playback  folder.
