Refresh: Intra-day charts duplicate 1 hour of data (1231)

Q:  It appears a patch is required to fix the chart duplication problem I am having.  Basically the chart seems to duplicate the data every hour so that data shown as about 1.5 hours ago seems to imitate data of 0.5 hours ago on a rolling basis.

A:  The 'patch' amounts to fixing your parameters that are related to time zones.  So, if you tell me the following information I can help you get the parameters correct so the duplication does not happen.  Also, showing me a picture of the duplication can possibly give me more clues.

On the Windows Task bar, right hand side, is a time stamp for the computer system clock.   Double click on the time stamp on the task bar to show the system clock property form.  What time zone do you have selected for the system clock?   Then show me the property form for menu  Setup | Computer.  The issue is related to the time zone you use.   Your zone may have changed to day light savings ahead of the US markets going to day light savings.  The US markets changed to day light savings on Sunday, April 3rd, 2005.   The dates on Setup | Computer for day light savings will show   4/3/2005  and   10/30/2005.
